If you're a therapist, legal advocate, peer supporter, or someone who just gets it, we’d love to hear from you.
Beyond Believed wasn’t born in a boardroom. It started with one survivor, Katie Manning, researching late into the night, piecing together care options across dozens of tabs, trying to find support that felt clear, trustworthy, and human.
She didn’t set out to build a company. She was just looking for help. But when she couldn’t find a single place that made the process feel less overwhelming, she started creating one.
With a background in product design and strategy, Katie began turning that messy, emotional search into a living resource—one built slowly, carefully, and with survivors at the center.
She mapped out systems, gathered over 100 resources, and started designing a new kind of experience. One that centers care instead of chaos. One that meets people with calm, not confusion.
What began as a scrappy solo project is now evolving into something much bigger. Beyond Believed is growing into a platform with a bold vision: to make survivor-centered care more accessible through thoughtful design, real-time AI support, and a network of trusted human providers.
Katie believes AI can help answer urgent questions and reduce the friction of navigating care. But it will never replace the parts of healing that are inherently human—the connection, the nuance, the quiet understanding.
That’s where Beyond Believed comes in.
To bridge that gap. To meet people gently. To build what should have existed all along.
And this is just the beginning.
